At any time of the day, a special ambience will delight you - whether inside in the winter garden with the Salettl rooms, in the lounge and in the hunting room or outside on the spacious terrace when the weather is fine. A highlight is the magnificent view of the castles of Neuschwanstein or Hohenschwangau, situated above the centre of Hohenschwangau, you are close to the sights and yet far away from the hustle and bustle. The culinary credo: it must be seasonal, regional and with special attention to the quality of all processed foods. According to the "farm to table" principle, the restaurant obtains its food almost exclusively from traditional regional businesses. Individual menus are also available on request. And last but not least, a fine selection of German and international wines rounds off the culinary experience.

The choice of food is classic and modern at the same time and meets every taste. Some dishes can be chosen either as a starter or as a main course. The service is extremely friendly, very attentive and courteous. We therefore ate very well in the evenings here on two consecutive days.
MoreNot convinced. An eternity passed between the starter and the main course, neighboring tables already at dessert or broken up, it was unfortunately too late for the desired dessert. The char fillet was cooked dry, at least with crispy skin. Potatoes “al dente”, hardly able to absorb the sauce. Spinach, well, with little love as a lump under the fish. If I hadn't been so hungry, I would have let it go back. And then the apology with a scoop of sorbet, for my part rejected as inadequate. Doesn't live up to the demands of the hotel. Too bad.
